Catharina Boer
Catharina has more than 20 years’ experience in a career that has spanned corporate communication, public affairs, government relations and reputation management. She has provided public relations counsel and lead media and communication campaigns across multiple sectors in Australia and internationally in both in-house and agency environments.

Recently, Catharina delivered the communications and stakeholder engagement component for a leading global construction consortium who successfully tendered for Snowy Hydro 2.0 – a $6 billion Federal Government funded pumped hydro-electricity project, managed community relations for several large private and public school developments in NSW and lead external communications for Harbour City Ferries, the operators of the Sydney Ferry network.
Peter Brookes
Peter is a founding Partner of Citadel-MAGNUS and joint Managing Director, based out of the Sydney office. He leads the transaction practice across IPOs and M&A and has 20 years’ experience as an adviser to ASX listed companies across financial corporate communication. Peter has led large and complex transaction projects, including cross-border deals, and has advised on numerous high profile public listings and trade sale processes. He also worked as a communication adviser in the UK, and prior to that was a OTC derivatives dealer for Tullet Prebon.
Martin Debelle
Martin is Chairman and a founding Partner of Citadel-MAGNUS. He specialises in corporate issues management, transactions, government and regulatory affairs with more than 20 years’ corporate communication experience across resources, energy, manufacturing, retail and real estate, with listed and unlisted companies. Previously he worked as media director to NSW Premier and government, a news reporter and foreign correspondent for 15 years.
Françoise Dixon
Françoise has over 15 years' experience as a research analyst specialising in equity, industry and policy analysis. As a rated analyst with Prudential-Bache Securities and Ord Minnett / JP Morgan, she provided investment advice to institutional and retail clients, produced industry and company research, and liaised with company executives at the highest levels. Françoise draws on this expertise and in-depth understanding of investment markets to advise companies on the communication strategies needed to build investible brands, drive stock valuations and expand shareholder value. Françoise has a Master of Media Practice from the University of Sydney, Bachelor degrees in Economics and Arts (Honours: First Class) as well as a Graduate Certificate of Arts (Writing).
Henry Downing
Henry plays a key support role with Citadel-MAGNUS’s small to mid-cap listed clients and brings strong experience in the development and delivery of corporate communication programs, most recently as an Account Executive at a Sydney-based firm. Henry has a sound understanding of the communication requirements for companies, both public and private, with experience in media relations, investor relations, reputation management, content creation and account management.

With a particular interest in resources, energy, finance, property and technology, Henry brings valuable research, client service and media relations skills to Citadel-MAGNUS.

Henry holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Anthropology and Sociology) from Macquarie University (NSW), and a Diploma of Investor Relations from the Australasian Investor Relations Association (AIRA).
John Gardner
John is a founding Partner of Citadel-MAGNUS and joint Managing Director of the firm based out of the Perth office. He has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate communication and investor relations in Sydney, Perth and London. His experience includes the development of corporate, investor relations and transaction communication strategies for clients across a broad range of sectors. He has led the communication on many highly successful transactions and provided counsel to management on several complex issues in the corporate sector.
Cameron Gilenko
Cameron came to Citadel-MAGNUS with 8 years’ experience in equity capital markets both in Australia and London and works closely with small-to-mid cap companies as part of the investor relations team.

He most recently spent four years working as an Analyst for Barclays Capital in London before that worked for a major Australian financial advisory firm.

He brings in-depth knowledge of the financial markets, corporate transactions, investment strategies and facilitating secondary market trade execution. Cameron has an interest in all market sectors and a particular passion for the resources industry.

Cameron holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Majoring in Finance & Management from Curtin University and is RG 146 qualified.
Matthew Gregorowski
Matthew leads the Sydney investor relations practice. He has more than 15 years’ agency and in-house corporate communications experience in Australia, the UK and South Africa, running holistic investor relations programs for public companies spanning a range of sectors. He has also advised on several corporate transactions including IPOs, capital raisings and M&A. Before emigrating to Australia, Matthew was Head of Media Relations for FTSE 100 financial services company Old Mutual plc and a Partner of international corporate communications firm Instinctif (formerly College Hill).
Nyomi Horgan
Nyomi has more than 25 years of corporate communication, stakeholder management, strategy development and investor relations experience gained in both the UK and Australian markets.

She has provided counsel to management on several complex issues in the corporate sector and led the communication strategies extending across a broad range of industries including resources, energy, manufacturing, retail and financial services.

Her strong track record in corporate and strategic communication was established during a number of years with PwC, Alinta and a specialist corporate communication business where clients included Woodside; Brookfield Rail; Gold Fields Australia; Oakejee Port and Rail, INPEX; Esperance Port Authority, Crosslands Resources; and Diploma.
Doris Jurzak
A chartered accountant, Doris has 20 years’ experience in financial reporting and operations.

She has previously worked in senior finance roles for listed and private equity entities, primarily in the property and infrastructure sectors. This included working on annual reports and other shareholder communications, capital raisings, board reporting, and day to day financial activities including management reporting and compliance matters.

Doris also spent a number of years with an international chartered accounting firm and various small, expanding businesses. Her broad skills and experience in accounting, tax and administration provide valuable support for the Citadel-MAGNUS team.

Doris holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Newcastle and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Tom Kohlen
5 years’ experience in financial services, most recently as an Associate in the Perth office of an international wealth management firm. A sound understanding of financial markets and the listed company environment, with experience in developing investment strategies, managing asset allocations, conducting equities research, corporate transactions and facilitating secondary market trade execution.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and a Masters in Applied Finance from Kaplan.
Sophie Maio
With a background in marketing communication, Sophie brings strong corporate brand reputation and client relationship management experience to the Citadel-MAGNUS team.

Prior to joining Citadel-MAGNUS, Sophie worked at a major WA advertising agency, where she was integral to implementing public relations initiatives and the development, organisation and delivery of strategic marketing campaigns.

She has a well-established understanding of the media landscape and experience working across the government, not-for-profit and private sectors. Sophie’s time in the advertising industry has provided her with a unique perspective on brand perception and the reputation of corporations, of all sizes.

Sophie holds a Bachelor of Arts (Communications Studies) with English major from The University of Western Australia.
Helen McCombie
Helen is a founding Partner of Citadel-MAGNUS and has extensive expertise in corporate communication and issues and crisis management across numerous sectors. Helen has a strong understanding of the Australian media landscape having previously worked in journalism for 25 years including roles as Business Editor of Sky News and with Channel 9’s Business Sunday Program. She also provides presentation and media training to senior executives and company Boards.
Genevieve Norton
Genevieve brings strong graphic design and desktop publishing skills to the Citadel-MAGNUS team. She has more than 9 years’ experience in professional services consulting and provides high-end design support internally and externally for the business. She has experience working to strong brand guidelines in a corporate environment including, designing and producing pitch documents and proposals, reports, factsheets, brochures, infographics and presentations. She is outcomes-focused, with strong attention to detail and is proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite of programs, including Illustrator, InDesign and video editing software, in addition to being an advanced user of all Microsoft Office programs. Genevieve holds a Bachelor of Design and Technology with a major in Industrial Graphics.
Paul Ryan
Paul has extensive experience in the oil and gas and agriculture sectors, where he developed a strong track record of managing corporate reputations in challenging regulatory and stakeholder environments. Paul is adept at working with diverse and dynamic operations most recently as External Relations Manager at Shell Australia, where he was responsible for the management of non-technical risk for and reputation of Shell’s upstream assets.

He has provided strategic communication counsel across Australia’s metropolitan hubs and regional Western Australia, making representations to government, devising stakeholder engagement programs and effectively managing corporate and operational issues.
Catherine Strong
Catherine has more than 14 years’ of corporate communications and investor relations experience gained in both the London and Australian markets.

She has advised and supported listed and private companies through IPOs, RTOs, capital raisings and M&A across multiple sectors, such as healthcare, technology, real estate, energy, support services and chemicals. She joins Citadel-Magnus from a boutique investor and media relations firm in Sydney where she was focused on investor relations.

Prior to returning to Australia, she supported a broad range of London Stock Exchange and Alternative Investment Market listed clients, at London based agency Buchanan, one of the UK’s leading, and most experienced financial communication and investor relations consultancies. Her clients included Filtrona (now Essentra), Hunting and LSL Services, as well as life science clients such as Gilead Sciences, Peptech (now part of Cephalon), Genus and Immupharma.

She graduated from the Australian National University with degrees in both Science and Arts.
James Strong
James has over 17 years’ experience providing advice to listed clients across a number of sectors, geographies and exchanges on investor relations and financial communication, as well as strategic advice on corporate transactions and crisis management.
Michael Weir
Michael has more than 25 years' experience in investor relations and corporate financial communication. A former senior finance journalist, Michael has also held in-house executive roles within the mining and mining services sector. He has deep experience in corporate affairs, stakeholder engagement and capital markets. He has led complex communication around project development, capital raisings, corporate transactions and corporate strategy rollout.
Matthew Wiseman
With a background in communication and economic consultancy, Matthew brings a strong understanding of public affairs, CSR/ESG and stakeholder engagement experience to the Citadel-MAGNUS team.

Prior to joining Citadel-MAGNUS, Matthew worked at The Centre for Corporate Public Affairs and a prominent Australian economic and public policy consultancy firm. In this role, he participated in creating communication and CSR strategies for a number of companies and government agencies.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts (Social Research and Policy) with a Development Studies major from The University of New South Wales.
