The Western Australian Cricket Association’s philanthropic arm, the WA Cricket Foundation (WACF), has appointed John Gardner, Partner and Managing Director of Citadel-MAGNUS, to its Board.
The Foundation was established to support the Western Australian Cricket Association’s vision to develop all levels of cricket in WA, through key initiatives that deepen community engagement, as well as to raise funds for the WACA Ground Improvement Project.
John’s passion for cricket stems from more than 30 years as a member of the WACA and as a long-term playing member of Claremont-Nedlands Cricket Club.
John is one of three new appointees to the Foundation Board, alongside Meredith McClements and John Goodlad.
“It’s humbling to be invited to join a Board of this calibre. I am passionate about the future of cricket in this State and look forward to working hard to contribute to the Foundation,” John concluded.
