Citadel-MAGNUS is excited to be joining the Morrow Sodali family, enabling the combined business to provide unrivalled strategic advice across an increasingly broad range of critical disciplines in Australia.
Morrow Sodali’s Australian operations have expanded significantly over recent years driven by demand for proxy solicitation and shareholder activism response work, to encompass stakeholder research and engagement and a broad suite of ESG advisory and reporting services.
These services add substantially to our strategic communication business, which provides leading advice to corporations on financial communication and investor relations, spanning M&A, IPO and Board advisory services.
The combination is the largest of its kind in Australia and brings together more than 80 professionals, across 12+ disciplines, servicing more than 400 ASX listed companies from offices in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne.
Chairman of Morrow Sodali APAC, Maria Leftakis said, “I’m delighted to be uniting forces with the highly talented team at Citadel-MAGNUS. The acquisition elevates our ability to deliver value to our clients to help them meet their increasingly complex stakeholder engagement and reporting demands.”
“More and more, our clients are coming to us seeking advice and assistance across a wide array of areas covering shareholder communication, stakeholder engagement, capital market intelligence, corporate governance and ESG advisory. Acquiring Citadel-MAGNUS enables us to provide a broader range of strategic solutions for our clients and positions us well to become their ongoing partner of choice,” said CEO of Morrow Sodali’s International business, Christian Sealey.
Joint Managing Director of Citadel-MAGNUS, Peter Brookes, said, “The constantly shifting landscape of media and capital markets has led to the evolution of our business over recent years, including the creation of a leading investor relations practice. We are now seeing demand from clients for an end-to-end offering across the financial calendar and complex event driven activity where good communication is paramount. Joining Morrow Sodali is a natural evolution of our business.
