Australia’s leading corporate and financial communication advisory firm, Citadel-MAGNUS, is pleased to announce the appointment of Russell Quinn to the position of Associate Director in the Perth office.

Russell has more than 18 years’ media and communication experience in Australia, providing advice to listed and unlisted entities across the public and private sectors.

He brings extensive experience in corporate communication, public relations, community engagement and reputation management, having worked across various industries in challenging regulatory and stakeholder environments including banking and finance, insurance, health and gambling.

John Gardner, Managing Director and co-founder of Citadel-MAGNUS said Russell brought a wealth of experience in designing and delivering integrated communication strategies that would support clients to build strong corporate reputations and develop critical stakeholder relationships.

“His impressive record in corporate affairs, crisis management and strategic communication has helped protect and enhance some of Australia’s largest businesses and strongest brands including Bankwest and that of its parent, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia,” he said.

“Russell has a strong reputation in Australia’s public and private sectors, spanning the local, national and international business and investment communities, with extensive media connections globally. He also provides the firm with further government relations expertise, ensuring clients will benefit from broader services we can offer nationwide.”

Most recently, Russell played a vital role leading communication and stakeholder engagement in WA for the National Disability Insurance Agency, the federal government agency rolling out the $22 billion world-first National Disability Insurance Scheme.

The appointment of Russell continues Citadel-MAGNUS’ growth trajectory as the leading independent corporate and financial communication firm in Australia.
